My name is Jaimy Wondergem and I started The Style Paper to create a platform on which to post my surface pattern designs and styling concepts. The basis for all this is the idea that good design should be simple and timeless. Quality, attention to detail and sustainable production go a long way.
Surface pattern design
The Style Paper's surface pattern designs are mostly created by hand and then digitally altered into a repeating pattern. I like minimal and abstract shapes but am also inspired by nature and travel. I also prefer to create shapes that are simple but not 'easy' so a lot of thought goes in to the placement of the designs. The resulting patterns are defined by their diversity, both in looks and applicability.
It is possible to license designs or have a collection made by commission. The Style Paper is also open to collaboration requests for product or packaging design. With an honorary styling degree and a corporate background, I can translate your wishes into a concept. Please contact us for more information.
